Regarding the news reported by Apple Daily, “a Lieutenant Commander committed sexual assault to his girlfriend in the Navy, but the Commander persuaded him to have military discharge so as to get the retirement payment,” Navy Command Headquarters claimed today (07/03) that the content of the verdict, “Navy Commander knew the defendant would never get any payment if he was going to be dismissed, so he suggested him to have military discharge so as to get the payment before the crime was exposed,” was in fact the legal consultancy provided by the legal system officer and legal leader to the defendant. However, it was not had been misused by the reporter, and this report did not jibe with the fact.
